Pruning

Рruning are an important preventive factor for limiting reproduction of pests and diseases of fruit tree species and for the destruction of the majority of the sources of contamination, which is essential for the conduct of quality protective events for all fruit species.

  1. Seed species – apples and pears
    The pruning of seed trees begins with the termination of vegetation, usually in November. The technology is contingent upon the traditional methods for the formation of low-stem pruning .
  2. Stone trees – peaches, apricots, plums and cherries
    For peaches and apricots there are two mandatory pruning: a summer one: ending by the end of August and fruit-bearing, which begins with the swelling of the flower buds at the end of the winter and ends in March earlier varieties, while for all others in April. For plums and cherries as well as peaches the preferred crowns are enhanced calyx but no strict rules are imposed.
